We bought the shutters and decided to make a stand...I spray painted the shutter green...then chris nailed the shutters together. Chris got left over wood from his brother, cut the wood into square pieces to use as the bottom and top. He then used gorilla glue to glue the wood pieces to the shutter. A coat of polyurethane to finish the project off and viola....
Materials:
Shutters $10
Valspar spray paint (2 cans) $8
Wood: free
Toal: $18
Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy!

DeleteThis is so cute! I love the color too. There are four shutters nailed to the back fence on the house we're renting...I guess someone thought they'd be a great decor element to the backyard?? Anyways I'd love to rip them down and do this with them! Not sure the homeowners would be too happy though...
