Margaritaville Beverage Tub Gift

Last year I created a beverage tub using my Silhouette Cameo for my friend for her wedding shower. Jessica was at the shower liked the idea so much she asked me to help her with one for her sister-in-law's shower.  It started out with a plain metal beverage tub from Lowe's that I purchased last spring.

Their last name is Todd, so she came up with the great idea to make the "T" in Todd out of a palm tree. I went on my Silhouette program and found a palm tree that I had purchased a while back. The I added the letters and made them close to the same size as the palm tree. This was a Margaritaville themed bridal shower, so the palm tree was a perfect addition.

I used royal blue Silhouette vinyl adhesive for the lettering on the tub. Jessica added kabob holders, beer mugs, coasters and Landshark Beer.  This gift was perfect for the Margaritaville shower. I know the bride loved it!

Here is the bucket as it was before I added the lettering. I cannot believe I haven't given these as gifts at every shower. It is a lot of fun to make these for friends. They are always something you can use around the house for beverages or even storage for toys.

Here is a better view of the lettering on the bucket itself.

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy your day.

Beverage Tub Gift

I found this white beverage tub on for a great price at HomeGoods. I have a friend getting married soon and I always try and give presents in usable containers.  I cut out a crab and their last name on my Silhouette Cameo and easily adhered it to the tub.  Being that we live in Maryland I thought crabs were the most appropriate choice for it and they are having a nautical themed wedding.

I plan on filling the tub with some goodies from their registry for the rest of their bridal shower gift.  I have a few items already, but I do not want to ruin the surprise for the bride to be.  Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I plan on posting some pictures from our Easter egg hunt tomorrow.
