Fall Table Decor with Hardware Accents

I am a party of a challenge at the His and Hers blog to use anything from the hardware store for a project. I first did my Pendant Shade with Metal Washer Accents and then realized that I had many washers left over.  I used them to add a little something with some leftover fabric to various vases from the dollar store.
I picked up the plates and napkins from Target. Then created my own napkin rings with metal washers and some jute twine. I didn't include the silverware in my pictures because my two year old would be running around with them chasing my dogs.

I took the piece of fabric that came wrapped around the napkins and wrapped it around the bottle in the crate.  I picked up this cute little bottle and crate for next to nothing at the tag sale at Elizabeth & Co around the corner from my house.  I added some pine cones that my daughter collected on our beach trip.
Thanks for stopping by my quick little table decor project.
It was a lot of fun and it makes it feel like fall even though the day I did this it was almost 80 degrees here in Maryland.  I was  able to use some materials from previous projects.  However, now we are trying to get through this approaching hurricane, Sandy. I hope that it all blows through without too much damage.
I am participating in the Random Acts of Craftiness at His and Hers where we had to use hardware to create a project in the month of October.

  8. Another BRILLIANT project. The washers looked amazing on your pendant lamp and I wasn't sure you could top it BUT the washers are the perfect napkin ring.

And, thanks for the giggle imagining Wynn chasing your dogs with silverware.

  15. I like them. For some reason I love just about anything that uses twine. I also like the way you repurposed the cloth packaging as a bottle cozy.
