I picked up the burlap canvas at Michaels and a large pad of scrapbook paper on clearance. I already had the wooden V in my collection. I painted the letter with a mixture of gold and pink paint. I used spray adhesive to attach the scrapbook paper to the canvas, and then hot glue to attach the wooden letter.

What a sweet gift Megan! Love those burlap canvases, so much you can do with them. When I saw them at Michaels, my first thought was that they would be a big hit in the blog world. ... And can you believe it's snowing again? Hope you are staying home and cuddling with your little ones!
ReplyDeleteEverything is better with a monogram thrown in. Your mother in law is going to love it!
ReplyDeleteA second one is twice as nice and why not make one for yourself??! I am a snow lover but even I have to admit, I'm whipped by this years winter.
ReplyDeleteThis is really cute! I'm pinning so that I remember to make it for my next house.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous but I am totally in love with that paper nice score!
ReplyDeleteOh, love this idea. I've been meaning to make something like this for our home, but hadn't found the right combination of materials yet. Wonder if this would work where I was envisioning....
