Last Wednesday our lives changed forever as we went from a family of three to a family of five in less than an instant. Our two boys, Ty and Davis, were born Wednesday afternoon in a quick delivery. We were so happy to finally see who had been taking up a large portion of me for so long. They came in at 7lbs 8 oz and 7lbs 4 oz respectively. They were some big boys, and all the nurses were quite impressed with their size and that we all made it to 39 weeks.
Here are some pictures I thought I would share with you...
Davis, Myself and Ty after their arrival.
Wynn super excited that her brothers finally made it home.
Ty trying out his new living space in his own crib.
Davis all snuggled up in his crib.
They boys are loving their new cribs and they have one super excited big sister.
Thanks for all the well wishes and positive thoughts from my blogging friends over the past few months.
Congrats!!! What gorgeous boys! Happy new momminess to you!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Having twins is the best! I had twins (two girls) 10 years ago -- having same-sex twins is great, because they become the best of friends. Congrats on delivering at 39 weeks -- I only made it to week 32. My body just couldn't take carrying twins!

They are adorable Megan! Congrats! And those were some big boys! No wonder you were so uncomfortable! Sadie decided to arrive very quickly as well on November 1St, so fast in fact we didn't make it to the hospital and she was born at home. Oops!
ReplyDeleteBy far the cutest things I have seen all day! Congratulations Megan, you look so happy!!
ReplyDeleteI have tears in my eyes. I am so happy for you and your family. Those boys are beautiful. You should be so proud of how well you cared for those growing babies for 39 weeks. They are absolutely precious. I only wish I could come and do some baby holding. Sincerest congratulations.

They are darling--congratulations! I can't believe how big they were for twins, and at 39 weeks! So glad your delivery went well. :)

ReplyDeleteOh Megan, they are beautiful! Sorry I am a little behind on blogs. Just awesome that you made it to 39 weeks! And those boys were big babies! I hope it is going well. That first month was hard for me with mine. You have a sweet helper on board....enjoy it. Nap when they do and YOU make their schedule. At least that worked for me. TWINS are FUN!!!
