Baker's Twine Ice Cream Tote

I saw a baker's twine project a few days ago on Domestically Speaking that really caught my eye! I immediately pinned her beautiful project for inspiration on a future project. Click on the link above to check it out.  When I decided to take part in the craft supply overhaul they asked that you make a project out of the items you already have in your space. I decided to create a tote for my daughter with the twine I had won through a giveaway a while back.

I took a canvas bag from Hobby Lobby and created an ice cream cone out of bakers twine and some glue.  I think it will go perfectly as the gift bag for Wynn's birthday party, which I'm planning on an ice cream theme in a few months.  I figured she could have an ice cream party even with a winter birthday.

I like that it was simple, sweet and almost free to make! Thanks for stopping by!
