I came up with another baby food lid project for fall. This is for my front door once fall comes into full swing. The saying reminds me of my sweet sister who lives in the south.
I painted a white canvas with some tan craft paint. Then I cut out the letters on some purple vinyl on my Silhouette Cameo. I used a hot glue gun to attach the food lids to the canvas. I added a strip of fall colored burlap to give a hanging piece to the canvas
This was my project I shared a few weeks ago.
This project could easily be done by children too. I would just use craft glue with them instead of hot glue. Wynn and I played around with the lids on a table and made an apple, a bunch of grapes and some other objects with the colorful lids. I am glad that I have saved them. The Peter Rabbit brand butternut squash baby food had the perfect orange color for the pumpkin art.
Enjoy your day! Thanks for stopping by!

Oh too cute, how handy having double the number of kids than anyone else when you're making this much cuteness.
ReplyDeleteOh that is cute! I have to say, I had no idea baby food came in pouches and I had to google it! LOL! Guess I'm getting old.

What an ingenious use of baby food lids! I don't think they had those types of lids when my kids were little. Super way to repurpose!
