I saw these adorable cork boards in the Land of Nod of catalog for around $20. I figured they would be easy enough to create a similar look.
I used a round sponge dauber and three types of craft paint. I simply stamped the dauber in no particular pattern onto the cork board. Then attached some fabric ribbon to hang them in Wynn's room.
After explaining how to hang items on them, Wynn told me that she would leave them plain. She said she did not want to cover up the polka dots. I guess she does have a point there.
Wynn is so cute! I wouldn't want to cover those polka dots either. Another great knockoff!

ReplyDeleteCute! A young friend who is an upcoming freshman made something similar for her locker the last time she visited me. We put magnets on the back for the locker.
