Painted French Doors by Rob & Megan

I found this project done by the Remodelaholic Blog blog the other day and loved it. Wow the black really made the door pop and look so beautiful.

I went to Lowe's and picked up some Rust-oleum door paint in black. The gentlemen at the paint counter knew exactly what I needed and picked out the right paint.

Here is our door inside and out before we painted:

Our yellow lab Lance posed for the photo.

Megan sanded the doors down using 60 grit sandpaper to do that.  Then we taped everything off and began to paint.  It took approximately two coats of paint on both sides of the door. The most time consuming part was taping off everything. Here is the final product:

Both Lance and Barkley wanted to be a part of the final product photo.

For about $13 dollars in paint it makes a big difference inside and outside. Thanks for stopping by.
